Evil eye

Dimensions: A3 (11.7 x 16.5 inches)

"Evil eye" was inspired by my trip to the beach with a couple of friends during uni. I had such a fun day out, away from all the stress of assignments, training and revision for oncoming exams. 

While taking some selfies I came across a little shed with huge eyes spray painted on it staring out at sea. It reminded me of certain traditions (such as in Hindu, Buddhist and Greek cultures) where they wear certain jewellery or follow certain customs to protect themselves against the evil eye, which then inspired me to create my own version in a painting.
